Based on the PG Cert computer science course
"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I can remember me, involve me and I learn". Benjamin Franklin's famous quote perfectly describes my approach to achieving accomplishments in the computer science world.
I studied industrial engineering with a minor in automotive engineering at Ostfalia University of Applied Science and graduated successfully in December 2019. I got my first insight into the Java programming language during my program at the university. Furthermore, I used applied mathematics to program a balancing board game and obtained experience in Matlab. Following my graduation and internship, I was determined to pursue computer science and work in this environment. I have acquired the basic knowledge of this field but believe there is more to accomplish. My passion for innovation and digitalization excites me to acquire more knowledge in this field.
I want to specialize in media informatics and become a specialist in innovative technologies. In addition, I pursue to gain knowledge of augmented reality, virtual reality, mobile apps and breakthrough internet technologies.
I reach my goal the same way I climb a mountain. Whoever returns without reaching the peak has missed his target.
The module explores the computer's fundamental theories and practices and then progressively examines trends and current developments in computer science.
In this module, students develop object-oriented programming skills using the object-oriented programming language Python.
This module introduces students to secure software development's fundamental concepts and skills. Students will be provided with an overview of traditional and modern Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) models.
